Product Test – Garnier After Sun Moisturizing Lotion

Through the collaboration between All2test and Garnier, I got to test the Ambre Solaire After Sun moisturizing lotion — and there was plenty to explore.

The Product

The Garnier Ambre Solaire After Sun lotion has a light, milky texture that absorbs quickly into the skin. Its key active ingredients are aloe vera and glycerin, which hydrate and soothe the tight, stretched feeling that follows sun exposure.

My Experience

The texture and absorption are flawless: it leaves no greasy layer, and the skin feels immediately more comfortable after application. The moisturizing effect is long-lasting.

My only hesitation is the scent: after sun exposure, once the skin has dried, a faint tanning-lotion-like fragrance can emerge. It's not unpleasant, but those who prefer fragrance-free products should know this in advance.

Verdict

A practical, effective after-sun product that does its job well. Those with scent sensitivities should choose carefully.
