Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The site is operated by: Matisz-Orosz Henrietta (hereinafter: "Data Controller").

2. What data do I collect?

The BeautyDiary website does not collect personal data automatically. If you send a message through the contact form, the data provided (name, email address, message content) will be used solely for responding to your inquiry. The legal basis for processing is the data controller's legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Data is deleted within 30 days of the correspondence being concluded.

3. Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter, I store your email address to send newsletters. The legal basis for processing is your voluntary consent given at the time of subscription (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the emails, and your data will be deleted immediately.

4. Cookies

The site uses two types of cookies: (1) Technically necessary cookies: to store your preferred display language (hu/en), containing no personal data. (2) Analytics cookies (with consent only): Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous visitor statistics — page views, time on site, traffic sources (e.g. Google, Instagram), geographic data (country/city level). Data is processed by Google LLC under the EU–US data transfer framework. Legal basis for analytics: consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the notice at the bottom of the site.

5. Data processors

I use the following third-party service providers (data processors) to operate the site:

Formspree, Inc. (USA)Receives and stores data submitted via the contact form and newsletter sign-up. Privacy policy: formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy

6. Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

access the data stored about you (Article 15)
request its rectification or erasure (Articles 16–17)
object to the processing of your data (Article 21)
lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority (naih.hu for Hungary)
request restriction of processing (Article 18)
receive your data in a machine-readable format — for data processed on the basis of consent (Article 20)
